according to Jean-Marie Lafont, Indika, Delhi, Manohar, 2000, p. 49, n. 41 :" The manuscript of Father de Bourzes "Franch-Tamul Dictionary", great in-folio which was in Madras in the early 1900s, is now in the old books section of the Vidyajyoti Library, New Delhi. It carries a date, 1724, on the word "An" (year, observation of F. Gros)." [In the same book, see also p. 92 and 109, n. 19]
